Many advisers are compensated by commissions. This could possibly influence the advice that they provide. As a Series 65 Investment Advisor Representative you are not compensated by commissions but earn a fee for advice. You are bound to a “Fiduciary” duty to your investment advisor client as opposed to a more common “Suitability” standard, which currently applies to Brokers and Insurance Agents. This is a very important distinction. It is also important to note that my fiduciary duty extends solely to investment advice and does not extend to advice relating to insurance product sales, including annuities, life insurance, and long term care insurance.WATCH MY INTERVIEWS
